Top-end Connaught Hotel, situated in one of London’s most elite postcode and renowned for their exceptionally high standards of service and quality offerings, has installed Warmup® underfloor heating in 100 of their bathrooms as well as their winter terrace and American bar.

The hotel has ample bathroom heating but wanted a luxury effect.  In the winter terrace, they didn’t want to see any radiators so it was a design inspired choice, likewise with the bar.

The Solution
The refurbishment involved putting down a 45mm thick stone floor in the converted terrace, so Warmup® matting system was installed to achieve a rapid heat up.  The installation method was extremely quick and convenient, a distinct advantage for any job that requires several other subcontractors to be on site at the same time.  The exclusive American bar also had wall to wall underfloor heating installed.

The Experience
Warmup not only won the contract but was frequently referred to as the ‘best suppliers on site’.
